THE RULES
--Rule no. 1: Treat others as you’d expect to be treated

Be nice. That is to say, OOC’ly! Characters are, of course, allowed to hate each other’s guts. As long as the reason they do is not an OOC reason! Which brings us to…

--Rule no. 2: IC =/= OOC.

You’ve all seen it before, but you’ll see it again: things that happen IC’ly, such as a feud or a fight, does not mean the feud has to carry over into OOC interaction. It’s fine if your character’s a jackass, just don’t be one yourself, or there’ll be trouble.

--Rule no. 3: Stay in character.

It’s an AU, and we realise how being in this kind of a situation would change your pup (and their backgrounds), but Lelouch Lamperouge suddenly being a Nice Guy Desu~ will not work. We See What You Did Thar, always.

--Rule no. 4: No Trolling

Okay? Never. Never ever ever. Trolling means posting specifically to insult, ridicule, or otherwise hurt other players. Also known as ‘flaming’. You If you have problems with another mun, try to sort it out over AIM, IRC, MSN, or whatever creative IM service you want to use. If it doesn’t work, don’t resort to flaming-come to us, the mods. It’s what we’re here for.

--Rule no. 5: There’s no character limit, but if you pick someone up, stay active. If someone else wants to pick your inactive pup up, that’s a huge disappointment to them.

--Rule no. 6: No godmodding ever.

This means that you can’t say, “And then [pup 1.] started choking [pup 2] and [pup 2] died. Unless you play both characters, of course. Phrase your comments or posts so that the other mun has time to respond to whatever you did.

--Rule no. 7: It’s okay if you want to introduce an original character. In fact, it’s encouraged! However, because OC’s are harder to write and have a good grip on, we ask that you first settle down with a character from a fandom before you do that.

--Rule no. 8: Please put up the character's info and background story up in your profile. Otherwise, players joining later who don't know your character/fandom/background will be confused.

--Rule no. 9: To keep the rp active, please post at least once a week. If you’re unable to post for some time, post an announcement, or tell the mods.

--Rule no. 10: We’re not squeamish, but if you’re going to post things that are (for whatever reason) explicit and nsfw (not safe for work), tag them as such.

--Rule no. 11: Regarding Death Note

It is the experience of the moderators that Death Note characters have a tendency to kill roleplays as effectively as they kill each other. So, a rule. Please, take a different fandom character first, and play with them for a while. Then, try applying as a Death Note character.

No, this isn't because we haet Death Note!!!!oneoneleven, but because, well, in three past experiences, they've come like the plague and left nothing in their wake. So, respect that, please!
